Corumbau has a tropical climate and lush scenery all year round. Summer is the most popular time of year, due to the favorable, warm, rainless weather, and the seasonal holiday calendar. However, it is also the busiest time of year and the highest prices for accommodation, due to high demand. The village will be more lively, but nothing compared to other destinations on the Brazilian coast. It is still very peaceful.

In the fall and winter, temperatures drop, but it is still possible to enjoy many sunny and warm days. The village will be emptier and you will be able to have even more profound experiences. The only point of concern is the rain, which can be frequent during this time of year. Corumbau has 15km of practically deserted beaches. Ponta do Corumbau, the postcard of the place, enchants with its sandy headland that juts out into the sea at low tide. It is the beach with the best service structure of stalls and restaurants. The cuisine is wonderful. A little further on, we have Praia do Carroula, very calm and practically deserted with crystal clear waters.

Praia Virgem (in the center) is Samaya beach, which has direct access to the sand. It will be your backyard for a few days. It is always very empty and wonderful. In addition, it is in the center of Corumbau, close to everything: shops, restaurants, snack bars...

Salgado Beach is located on the cliffs, still in the center of Corumbau and has a wonderful viewpoint. It is just a few meters from Samaya.

Veleiro Beach is located in the Veleiro neighborhood, with access from the small square. To get to the beach, you will need to go through the Matinha Trail, a very pleasant 25-minute trail through the forest. Walk until you come across a practically deserted and stunning beach.

Pixane Beach is also located in Veleiro and is the last beach on the stretch, close to the runway. With cliffs of coconut trees bordering where the river meets the sea, this beach is worth a visit. To get there, you will need to walk along a 20-minute trail that runs parallel to the runway.
